The Solar Source can easily be integrated with other solar products as long as there is a adeqate room on a roof. Therefore, when purchasing a Solar Source heater (or solar photovoltaic panels, for that matter) it's a good idea not to place them right in the center of the roof. This may prevent other solar products in the future from having access to that roof area.

Integration with Other Heating and Cooling Products

Joining the ducting of a Solar Source heater with traditional heating and cooling devices in a home is not advised. Doing so may void any warranty on traditional heating and cooling devices, and sharing ducting may not optimise the performance of the Solar Source. A Solar Source heater works best if ducting is kept as short as possible. Therefore, the unit should be placed on the roof as directly as possible over the internal area of the house where the heat is needed. This may not be the route traditional ducted products take.
