True HEPA Filter
HEPA, an acronym for High Efficiency Particulate Air, describes a special type of extended surface, deepbedded, randomly positioned fibrous material media. Envircaire's True HEPA Filter consists of over 23m2 filter medium for maximum cleaning efficiency. It is recognised as the most efficient media to remove sub-micron particles from the air (at least 99% efficient at 0.3 micron size by DOP test). Efficiency increases both above and below the 0.3 micron particle level. The HEPA filter requires no cleaning or maintenance to maintain its efficiency for the life of the filter (3-5 years).
